There is a program called LargeAddressAware.exe I was having issues with having skype ect open then trying to open UO. I would get a not enough memory error and would have to close programs to be able to open UO. You install it and click on the Ultima.exe that your UOSteam points too. Then activate. Resolves the issue. A google search should take you to it.

you can just close everything and start the client. the issue shows when 50+% of memory is just under useage of other stuff. there is an other way to fix it without install suspicius .exe files. but actually i forgot it.. try online.
