One nice thing to add while fishing (even if you have multiple fishing) raise the Sacrifice virtue for at least one of your characters that way you can self rez if you get in a pinch while out on the seas.

one gd is enough to kill the leviatan. so if you have 105 105 taming and lore you just need to heal it. or/and you have necro and magery go in Wraith Form and cast chain lightning.
