im embarrassed to admit this, but - Stronghold Kingdoms - You've Played 2104 Hours

and it's only that low because i downloaded the standalone client after realizing how high the clock was getting.

it's a good mmo, annoying at times cos of how it works with the cards, but it's fun, passes the time, and you can set stuff going then play other things while it's in the background, much like uo ;)

if anyone is gonna sign up, plzz send me your email and i'll send you a refer a friend link, then i get equal crowns to anything you buy :P
ps. dont buy crowns lol, only once to get more free cards per day, otherwise buy the special offers cos you get like 10x the value on some

A new world has just started so it's on day 17ish, can run for years sometimes, last one was about 600 days to finished

if you get it from this link you get free stuff https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/stron ... bonus-pack
click the banner to reach a page that look like this: https://i.imgur.com/dLz81mL.jpg register from there and you get the free stuff ;)
oh shit maybe i cant do the refer a friend thing from that tho...

SHK is a kinda unique mmo at the moment, that's what i like tbh, UO is also a unique

everything else is WoW pretty much, i like these kinda passive games too, and you can play a couple of those while playing an active one to pass the time

btw if anyone does start shk on the new world, im at the far right, by the black sea in georgia.... i used to know a girl called georgia *sigh*

Some good game suggestions here. I'll add a couple I noticed haven't been mentioned.

Subnautica - The greatest "Horror" survival game I've ever played. A game you explore and survive and never worry about leveling up, getting stronger or even killing anything. (you can technically kill stuff, but it is impractical) premise is that your space ship crash lands, and leaves you stranded on an ocean planet and you need to survive (food, water and shelter) while collecting technologies from the ship's debris fields, then collect the materials need to make the technologies. Pretty great story too, and it leaves you open to discover it, meaning you can play for 50 hours and you may never stumble across plot triggers. Though they do give you enough hints to keep you on the right track if you're paying attention to them and not getting lost in one of the most beautiful game worlds I've ever played.

Factorio - I'd like to tell you all about the plot but the truth is that in 300 hours of play I've never gotten past the sandbox long enough to even know if there was one. If you like management games, this game is Mecca. The premise here is that (I assume) you're stranded on a planet or something, not sure, but its just you and a mining pick. You make machines to collect resources, use the resources to automate the collection of resources, use those resources to create materials to use in labs to research technologies that in turn allow you to more efficiently automate your resource collection and material creation... in the beginning you have a mining pick, at the end you have fully automated flying robots moving materials and goods to fully automated railways which then move the goods to fully automated production plants... I'm a pretty smart dude, but It would take a programmer to understand all the whacked out crap you can do in the automation. To top all that off, your automation causes pollution which pisses off the local fauna which make it their life's purpose to remove the blight that is you from their soil. And they eat the resources you need too, so ignore them at your peril. This is a management game that only ends when you get so lost you can't remember all the shit thats going on so you just start over.

Rimworld - This is a management game in gameplay but if you think about it as more of a "Story Generator" it would be more accurate. There is no "plot" or "story" in the game, but the characters you end up managing have random traits which affect the AI, and there is random events, both good and bad. Random events throw you for a loop when you're "just not ready yet" and the AI traits can create some crazy crazy shit. You'll never get bored, i guarantee it.

Those are my faves right now. Games, like UO, I just keep coming back to for the replay value.
