Skyrim Help?

So I am getting the Skyrim itch again, I think I might reinstall it and play it for a bit. I cant figure out what type of character to make for this run though. Anyone got any suggestions?

I am unfamiliar with the expansions so I would be of no help to you. Did they fix all the glitches? My favorite was the dawn treasure box.
