just to make this actually factual, Commodos is the bad guy in the film Gladiator, and was one of the few roman emperors raised from birth for the position, usually rome was a meritocracy and not hereditary rule - so fathers dont usually pass the crown to their son.
Marcus Aurelius the Wise is the guy that wrote the Meditations, which are great, and you should read them, or at least some quotes from them.
