In Liverpool, there's a man known as Purple Aki who loves to touch and measure men's muscles—he's been arrested numerous times since the '80s.

just to make this actually factual, Commodos is the bad guy in the film Gladiator, and was one of the few roman emperors raised from birth for the position, usually rome was a meritocracy and not hereditary rule - so fathers dont usually pass the crown to their son.
Marcus Aurelius the Wise is the guy that wrote the Meditations, which are great, and you should read them, or at least some quotes from them.
https://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes ... s_Aurelius

but his son was a total dick, and did indeed fight in the arena against gladiators (tho they always let him win)
he didn't kill his dad, and he didn't die in the arena. but he was a total and utter dick.

which is why i say, this is absolutely classic Commodos - sounds exactly like him.

In 2003, NASA aimed the hubble telescope at a small patch of empty space - smaller than a 1 mm by 1 mm square of paper held 1 meter away, and equal to roughly one thirteen-millionth of the total area of the sky.

this is what they found:

those are not stars, they are galaxies.

our galaxy alone contains around 100 billion stars.

in 1940, curare was discovered as a general anesthetic, and was used for the next 20 or so years.

curare is a paralytic, and does nothing to stop the sensations of pain. so it was administered along with a second drug which would cause memory loss.
