Everyone,

I started this post in December 2016. It is now July 2017 and I have finally found a solution that worked for me!

First- I watched the video and followed the guide provided at this UO Forever Link: https://www.uoforum.com/threads/uosteam ... ror.94891/

Now again, I'm not the most "computer literate" guy, but I managed to follow the directions and changed my registry as instructed. However it still did not fix the issue.

So- on a whim- what I did was go to my device manager/display adapters/ and uninstall the INTEL Integrated 530. This left only my NVIDIA 1060 showing up as a display adapter.

Then I went back in and edited my registry.....but this time in the "0001" folder, not the "0000" folder as shown in the video. See picture below. Changing the OpenGLDriverName and the OpenGLDriverNameWoW to the values shown and then restarting the computer fixed the issue! Again, please watch the video and give it a try first. IF that doesnt work, try changing the value in your "0001" folder.

The last thing I'll say as a disclaimer... I AM NOT A COMPUTER KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON! IF YOU DO ANYTHING FOLLOWING THIS AND MESS UP YOUR COMPUTER I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE!

Dont know if that's necessary.....but as a FYI I made a system restore point before I went fooling around in my registry.....

Good luck and Happy Gaming to anyone that stumbles upon this forum post!

Hello everyone, I'm back again.

So last night (November 15, 2017) my computer downloaded a windows update....."Windows 10 Fall Creators Update". I thought to myself at the time "This better not screw up my openGL Driver thing again!"

Guess what? It did.

However, armed with the knowledge of my 8 month journey before- I went strait to the culprit.

It appears my overwritten entry for the folder "0001" was reverted back to say the false location again- so I yet again manually changed it following the instructions from the UO Forever forum guide posted above. Restarted my computer and received the same error message.

So I went back into regedit and this time looked into the "0002" folder and changed those values to mirror those in the "0001" folder and restarted my computer. It fixed it!

So I'm back up and running again- but thought I'd post a little update for anyone who may stumble upon this at a future date.
