Hiryu Dismount

On osi: Hiryus are supposed to dismount almost every time they hit similar to Cu bleed frequency.

On demise: they almost never dismount when hitting.

Thought we should bring this bug back up again because of the changes to mounts.

Pretty sure the only pet that preforms its special attack correctly is the cu on demise. Hiryus dont function correctly at all. They will never dismount this is not an accurate mechanic.

Also orc brutes summoned via the talisman are supposed to autoattack/swing when you swing at your enemy if they are in range. On demise orc brutes do not attack at all they simply follow behind you and do nothing.

You obviously never experienced Demise dismount mechanics before the fix 5 or 6 years ago Josh.
It was as FUBAR as the flagging system years ago

What I was saying Josh was that everything to do with dismount on Demise was wrong. Everything. The only thing that was right was the spelling of dismount.

Example
If you dismounted me and I was on a pet I could just get on an Ethy

Do you by chance know what the likelihood of dismount going off via lesser hiryu special maneuver on demise?

I did some testing with a hiryu and lesser hiryu on OSI TC.

Over the period of about an hour each bashing on a mounted player character:

Hiryu
Landed hits: 1461
Dismount effect: 106 (7.26%)
Grasping Claw effect: 146 (9.99%)

Lesser Hiryu:
Landed hits: 1881
Dismount effect: 23 (1.22%)
Grasping Claw effect: 172 (9.14%)

Related publish excerpt:
When a Lesser Hiryu chooses to perform the Dismount special maneuver, it will now have a 20% chance to succeed in performing the dismount. This chance use to be 100%.

On Demise currently, a hiryu and lesser hiryu's chance of choosing the Dismount special move is 7%, and lesser hiryus only have a 20% chance of doing it successfully (resulting in 1.4% overall). This is in line with the observed current OSI mechanics.

Unless it can be verified these mechanics changed since publish 46 on OSI, this report is invalid.

so which publish are we cutting off changes for? because a lot of the shit you have here isnt accurate up to that publish.

"poisoning is osi accurate!" yah but every single pvper having a godly ecru isnt bc server is stuck in time. gotta move away from this type of thinking if you ever want to actually balance anything
