Im trying to find osi info on this for our era but my issue is this:
First curse dtermines timer. You cant renew a curse even if youre higher/same eval. After a curse you will remain curse for 144 seconds (assuming 120 eval) or until removed. No matter how many additional curses, still 144 seconds.
So to simplfy it
1)Player 1 curses at 0 seconds - 144secs timer (120eval vs 120 resist 144 is max time)
2)Player 2 curses at 140 secs (120 eval vs 120 resist)
3) Both Curse wears off at 144seconds
Another instance
1)Player 1 curses at 0 seconds - 24 timer (0 eval vs 120 resist)
2)Player 2 curses at 20 secs (120 eval vs 120 resist should add 144 seconds)
3) Both Curse wears off at 24seconds

Re: Curse Timer
I think it would be great to expand this report to multiple buff\debuff timer issues.

Re: Curse Timer
There are definitely some inconsistencies in the way curse effects work:
So, in the following instances, on Demise:
It would be good to check the behavior on OSI. I suspect: the stat effects replacement for higher intensities only is correct, and this should then also be extended to replace the max resist effects. If no effect is replaced then the buff icon should not be affected.
- The stat effects are replaced only when the effect is more intense than an existing one. (So -18 STR would replace -8 STR and extend/refresh the timer, but -8 STR would not replace -8 STR and would not extend the timer.)
- Max resist effects are never replaced. The existing effect on max resist will always remain and is never extended.
- The buff icon is always replaced and will state the time duration of the last curse with all of the last curse's intended effects.
So, in the following instances, on Demise:
The result of the second curse is:
- Stat effects from the last curse are unchanged (same intensity) and expire after 4 seconds.
- Max resist effects from the last curse are unchanged and expire after 4 seconds.
- The buff icon says all effects last for 144 seconds (incorrect).
The result of the second curse is:
- Stat effects will intensify and last for 144 seconds.
- Max resist effects from the last curse are unchanged and expire after 4 seconds (inconsistent).
- The buff icon says all effects last for 144 seconds (incorrect).
It would be good to check the behavior on OSI. I suspect: the stat effects replacement for higher intensities only is correct, and this should then also be extended to replace the max resist effects. If no effect is replaced then the buff icon should not be affected.
