i think the arcane bonus is not working correctly

Arcane Focus Bonus +1 damage and +1 second of duration per additional arcanist

On any mobs i hit only 3 extra damage with arcane level 4.

A level 4 means you have 3 ADDITIONAL arcanists, so +3 seems accurate.

+3 on total, so its 0 (if no arcane) +3 (with arcane)?
if spells give bonus damage, can it give 0 in bonus?
