In the sense of blocking yes their blocked but for like 30-40 secs not blocked perma like with bag balls or candles. One of the admins is welcome to post and confirm they are not using osi rules for blocking but on osi fielding in ghost was legal in fel and not considered blocking.

Energy field's intent is to block things, thats just how the spell works and if osi/demise started to ban people for using a magery spell for its intended purpose than thats a rather slippery slope. What if ur in the middle of a fight and you E field out an enemy guild who just happen to have a ghost near by? Would this be consider illegal now or legitmate pvp tactic.

Would fielding a ghost so it cannot move not count as blocking ghosts?

Also, I think the xfield is usually more to prevent a res than to block, I use it in field fights sometimes in order to make sure you're out of the fight or your team has to REALLY need you Alive lol
