Is bushido mage still viable here? It seems to be popular in OSI.

bushido mage was very good till they changed the tactics rule

probs still would be good here but in field scenarios you want your archers doing the stuns. would only do it on a 1v1 temp.

Yall are dumb....

It works, we have 2 dewds with templates for it. Both played in group fights.

You just have to smarter than the average bear to come up with the template and have the gear to make it work.

dont works like osi.

We have mages with bokuto -mage using teleportmacros for nerve combo like a tank mage.

Check BUSHIDOmage in osi, the template is very different.

I played OSI as a bushi mage for awhile, it is diff..duh..

But you can still accomplish almost the same things here. Just bc you arent able to make it doesn't mean its impossible.

We have someone in the guild right now that uses parry/bushi/specials with magery and resist and everything else. He just found a way to fit it all together.

Depends on player. Well depends how strong the archer's script is, and how much he/she runs.

Ive killed lots of archers 1v1 on parry mage, necro mage and alchy mage. But Ive also had lots of archers just run away.

I dont think a straight archer should ever kill a mage 1v1.

Along the same lines, a mage should never kill an archer 1v1.

People that lose 1v1 in the fields are typically just really bad at knowin when to run or how to counter.

I am personally attracted to the bushido mage build but I'm always under the impression that archers would totally wreck a bushido mage (assuming both guys equally skilled). So based on all the comments here, am I right to feel that the bokuto mage build would have equal fighting chance, as in there is no unfair advantage an archer would have over mage?

I lack experience, by sampire mage, can someone explain more why it is strong.?
