You attacking your pet will not make it stop following you
Me attacking your pet will not make it stop following you
You giving it a command (without the skill to control the pet ) will not make it stop following you

If you are in Felucca and your pet is set to follow you the pet should attack you if you attack it. If you are in a guild the pet should attack you on any facet if it is set to follow and you attack it

Hiding or using invisibility or death clears the attack. And the pet resumes following you if you just hid or used invisibility.
