Demise Forums Private Message Issue

I'm trying to send PM's to people, but they just go to the outbox and sit there. They don't move to the sent folder, so I'm assuming they are not sending. Do they only become sent when the user comes online or are they not going through for some other reason? I've posted 5 times because someone told me you needed to post some before people can get your pm's but the number of posts I was told that was needed was 3. Anyone have any insight on what's going on?

i think they stay in the outbox until the person that received the message reads it.

Not sure how this work but It seems to be a weird/confusing/bad programmed feature
Messages shouldn't be placed in outbox folder unless you write them as draft.
I think here they move to "sent" once the target read or answer the message, but technically there is no difference.
