sounds like you just need to purchase horned kits and burn through them.

700k for 300 charges in NW luna - that should give you what you need.

Is that all i need?
What stats should i be looking for, and can anything increaae my chances?

really depnds on your suit stats & jewel choice has a major impact on that. also you gotta know stat caps thinks like max hp is 150, max lmc 40

But your probably gonna need LRC with just resist at first; you will be really lucky to get a epic piece out of hrsk. for one it is missing 1 mod slot. 2 it don't like to give you good mods with solid resist more so with lrc mod.

My chest is like 13 LRC, 8LMC, and high fire and poison.
