Yo! My name is Ticia and I am a long time (ago) player.
I started playing Ultima back in 2002-ish until 2012/3. The last four years or so were a little spotty.
I just joined the free servers about a month ago and landed myself in Demise a few days ago! I have more or less had everything come back to me but I would love to find some people to play with other than my little brother haha.
My characters are Lady Persephone and The Stalk. I'm sure at some point I'll make my archer, Flidais as well.
Anyways, introduce yourself, tell me about your guild or what you like to do on Ultima. I'd love to hear it!

My characters are spread through different guilds, basically because they are all old/inactive and I stay for the nostalgia. Long live BAD and 8Bit!!
As for what I like do do on UO, I've been running a potion shop since 2012 and it's kind of my hobby. I hate stocking as it takes me forever to do, but for some reason I find joy in keeping detailed spread sheets of the amount of regs I go through in a year. Everyone has their quirks.
I also like to run champ spawns, but seeing as my guilds are so inactive, it's a rare occasion these days.

Oh man. I have always wanted to run champ spawns but I've always played UO by myself lol. I know my little brother does a couple of them on his own all the time but my characters are never as beefy as his are. I'd love to know where your potion shop is! That sounds awesome.

The Stalk is the tamer I started working on. I'm trying to do the whole bard/tamer thing. It's a painful process..
Hello, Ticia. Well, I was some kind of lone guildless wolf for some time till I find a guild that I really liked. Like the old proverb, haste is the enemy of perfection. If I where you I would just spend some time around getting to know some people doin' your things and see whenever you feel better and fit.
I'm not pretty sure about what I really prefer to do yet lol For now I'm running a mage with high SDI in gauntlet. It's being fun

you forgot to say that some of us can't contain themselves when they see a book on the floor and have to catch it - oh the scholars ones, big fall for books - and also like to spread starved horses around.
As stated, I like to collect books to prevent people from joining the wrong guild... Just a thought: there's got to be something wrong with a guild that does that much recruiting. It's usually that they wind up recruiting all the riff raff. Another reason is that the guild leader of that particular guild accused my friend, April here, of being a cheater after she tried helping him. He may be the most hated player on the server or a close runner up. His name is opywang. A few other people to be leary of are syruss[s^&p], veteran noobie[uxe], and pawtucket pat[d*a]. I don't know all of their in-game character names, unfortunately, or I'd just post them all here to keep you from having any problems.

Do you like to PvP or are you soulbound to tram?
Oh I am very much a trammie hahaha. I've never really had much of a taste for PvP in Ultima. A lot of the people seem sort of.... toxic lol.
I am a leery person, which is why I generally game solo. But I've been wanting to do more, like champ spawns, which is why I thought I would reach out in the forums!
Ok, so here's the deal:
The best champ spawns are in fel, so they will require some PvP. If you desire to continue down that road I recommend messaging malo above.
The rest of the champ spawns are slightly more difficult due to monsters that spawn, spawn location, paragons, or a combination of the previous 3. I recommend contacting Tanya(just to save you some issues: it's a dude) for tram ruleset spawns.
The great thing about uo is that you can do both! The guild that I'm in is a full blown tram guild, but we have members in all the major PvP guilds as well. We have a vetting process to keep people who aren't awesome out.
