Double Strike vs. Armour Ignore

Greetings all,
considering a sampire for Gaunt/peerlesses, would you prefer a katana or a leafblade, iow double strike or armour ignore.
THe advantage of the magekiller leafblade (armour ignore): It has 6 DCI...

In most cases double strike is better, in gaunt rooms 1-4 AI, room 5 and DF - double strike
For peerless i am using q-staffs but its also double strike.
Not many other monsters vulnerable to AI, maybe shimmering (archery better tho) and Irk and a few more.
6 dci on leafblade will not make any much difference in pvm, but feint is nice.

the only monster you will do more than double damage to with AI, is the impalers.

and that's only until someone corpse skins or discos them. assuming you are using consecrate wep that is.

also double strike has 2 chances to proc any hit effect. if someone is using corpse skin, which 80% of the time someone is, there's no competition. double strike is far better.

yes corpse skin is really nice. and in doom i like katanas more then axes, because they are fast and easy to make a luck suit.

double axe is gonna be highest dps wep, slayer with mana leech, plus bushido. but you would need the lmc to spam double strike.

i keep an axe of the heavens in a box at home, some day i'll make a lumberjacker

i might try for miasma... 3000 luck with bushido and statue.. if it's only for 1 monster.... maybe.

I made a test for miasma with a slayer axe... this is max dps i could get:

I agree, daisho is really good pvm weapon and can use it against travesty because it has no AI like katana...

I made a test for miasma with a slayer axe... this is max dps i could get:

one trick for miasma is if you have soulstones you can swap resist with anatomy on sampire or wraith, but thats about the maximum ive gotten as well, also having counter attack active whenever possible combined with double strike is pretty nice

youll never reach perfection killing miasma with a double axe, it should always die before.

doble strike is better compare ignore amor [this is only for warrior]

doble strike
-honor, one hit add 2point, miss lose just 1 attack
-effect weapon and form get 2x more chance
-efective to mosters under 60 resist

ignore amor
-good only if mosters have all type resist BIG [if one resist have low, chivalry can make wonders]

for archer i prefer ignore amor xD
