in case anyone doesn't know already, you can move npc's by saying their name and move, like "betty move"

then if you are stood next to them and you say their name only, they will stay still until you move.

so unless someone does it on purpose it should be okay... unless someone does it on purpose...

Not quite, but close. They still move. It's just happens less often. The trapping method is the best. If everyone would get on board with putting their smith there she'd stay there permanently.

After saying "Betty" and she stands still, if you have too long pause with returning bods, she will go. I think.

it's because someone else comes over and says it, then they move.

if they say it after you then they have her attention
(then she goes back to free roam when they move)
