A help request by a newcomer fisherman

I'm new in this waters and I'm nearly to achive the rank of grandmaster fisherman but the only I can get out from the sea is normal fish, prized, rare fish and also a tons of boots, sandals and high boots.

I'm been doing something wrong?
How can I get out the chests, the fishing nets, the SOS bottles...
What I need more? I'm in the middle of the ocean and it isn't normal to get ou only common loot.

MMmmm no no I been fishing in dark waters and I can't harvest nothing more than boot and comon fish.

I need something more like a pole fish of something, like oak or special wood?

Please I need help in this, if somebody can put some light into I appreciate.

Dark waters 80+ should yield white pearls. You should also be getting sea serpents which have sos's on them.

Dark Waters are the water far far away from any land or port, right? Because I'm master fisherman and I harvest nothing more than the common loot is strange.. I doing something wrong sure.

get GM

i think you only really need over 90, but the chance is much reduced. i think you need GM to get serpents? something like that.
but just get GM, easier than looking it up

I was fishing in Brit not far from the fisherman's shop, must be 16+ tiles from the land

when i fish i log in all 4 accounts, i have 3 guys with just gm fishing, set them going off the side of the boat, then my mage in the middle and he drives the boat around, stops in places and kills serpents that spawn.

most of the SOS bottles you get will come from the serpents.

(i figure i am watching all the fishermen so it's not unattended, and i am only fighting with the mage so it's not multi-client combat )

you can either do the SOS's yourself or just sell the bottles as gamble chances at an ancient SOS. if you get an ancient SOS you get an ancient fishing net from the chest, plus a nice white chest that is pretty rare. you can either sell the ancient net for like 500k or something, or you can use it to summon a leviathan which drops a minor artifact. if you're lucky the minor artifact will be a leviathan only one, and they will sell nice too.

so you can get basically:

Coloured Nets
Deco from Shipwreck
Sunken Chests
White Sunken Chests
Ancient SOS
Ancient Fishing Net
Cutlass
Ship Model
Ghost Anchor
White Pearls

The jist of it is you need to be attended to kill the serpents that you pull up. I can attest that you don't get anything except white pearls from simply fishing. I got 55000 fish steaks and like 16 white pearls in about 12 hours of fishing without killing the serpents that's all. Oh and 4x4 fishing is the way to go. Do try that
