Black List

Is there a running black list for users who win an auction but never pay or exchange goods resulting in the auction item restarting or sold to the next highest bidder?

I have had it happen four times in the last two weeks. A user will bid on and win an auction, but never respond to communication attempts to complete the trade/sale.

Start with the people that put a starting bid and also state that they won't sell if they don't like the bid

As far as I am concerned a starting bid is the minimum amount you will accept for the item(s)

So I guess the question is, "Do it violate any forum rules?"

Eh, it's called a reserve. If the sb is reasonable and they won't sell, then maybe blacklist. The main blacklist focus should be on buyers that either don't pay their bids or scam.

Idk if hardstone is still here, but he makes my blacklist.

We have people who say they will pay the buyout but don't

We have people who read the starting bid and bid below that amount

We have people who place a buyout on their item(s) and when they get a bid for that amount they will
A) not accept it and ignore you
B) accept a higher bid days later

On top of all that pile of crap

We have the PM bids that mysteriously appear
We have the seller with multiple forum accounts that raises the price
We have the friend of the seller that bids to keep raising the price

Now you want to add in a reserve?
Would you not need a 3rd party for that?

You want to sell an AoF
You place a starting bid of 20KK
And a buy out of 25KK
I bid 20KK
After my bid (and a few days later) they post that they will not sell if they don't like the amount
Help me understand that.....................

Or.....................

...................Tell ya what Imma a doin'........................
Tomorrow I'm calling my doctor to see if she can schedule me in for an operation
I think I really need to have this last "give a fuck" surgically removed
