Regarding Champions: A Casual Guide to Boating

Recently there has been some confusion as to when a Staff Member will step in regarding the propensity for our T2A Champions to take up boating as a new hobby. So let me clarify:

Lord Oaks is, currently, the only T2A Champion that will be returned to his altar.

All of the other Champions can be besieged in their respective dungeons, Lord Oaks only spawns in one place.

So champions in T2A boated and left unkilled will live and froze the respective alter forever, expcept Oaks.

Am i right?

Correct. Currently, only Lord Oaks will be returned to his altar.

ALL other Champions can be found in their respective dungeons.

Semidar - Fire
Barracoon the Piper - Despise
Neira the Necromancer - Deceit
Rikktor - Destard
Mephitis - Terathan Keep

If ppl just use it as a defensive strategy and kill the boss afterwards, its ok.But if ppl just boat the boss to the place no one can find, even block the way to the boss with boats or other things, the boss will be there forever. The respective spawn will be dead and both pvp and pvm activites concerning this spawn dead too...

So whats the point?

Its not a hide and seek game.At least not to me.

sometimes u gotta let dumb shit happen before staff will wake up and realize some of the rules are retarded. I say boot off all of t2a and leave it like that for a few weeks and see if they still stand by that rule.

What rule? The you can't boat oaks rule? I would say they would keep that rule no matter what... Now they may add a rule [ ;) ] that you can't boat champ bosses in t2a, but as it stands there's no rule pertaining to non-oaks bosses. Just an explanation of the lack of a rule governing the non-oaks t2a champ bosses.

I, also, disagree. Every guild has boated bosses at one point or another. It's not new to the staff. Eventually, alvin will find and kill the bosses even if you don't want him to.

i dont know why u waste time with post like this, a gm just said the rule is only oaks is teleported back to the spawn. clearly im saying the part of the rule "only oaks" is stupid and open to abuse.

You're saying you're against oaks being teleported back to the altar?

I just explained it too.... It was happening before you came to demise and will continue til after you leave or the server dies, whichever is first. You honestly think repeating a Hz plot will convince them this that it's a bad idea... puhlease...

Also, there are no rules against boating the other bosses, so clearly you meant that you disagreed with there not being a rule for the other bosses and/or that this rule didn't include the other bosses. You obviously agree with this rule against boating a boss, but would prefer that it would cover all the bosses which it does not.

I think after few weeks/months of constant bitching and moaning that all the t2a bosses are missing they will get the picture. if not than maybe we need better staff.

Maybe we need better players... If players can't find the bosses and kill them, what does that say about them?

ahh yes lets not focus on fixing stupid rules and broken mechanics and just force the player to spend hours looking for a boat when he just wanted to go spawn.

You all complain about a lack of events and ever growing boredom and when a nice treasure hunting event has been gracefully granted to you by the fair players of Demise all you do is cry and complain instead of living the adventure.... wind in your hair, sea salt on your skin, sun in the air and the ultimate freedom that boating can give you! No wonder the champions of T2A have left their boring chores and went on a sea adventure and only the Lord Oaks being so good and forgiving in nature has stayed to oversee the forests.
