Are you logging off in htown? That might be why, you just probably have terrible timing and are logging out right when they are afk checking people. If its not in htown, I am pretty sure its not breaking rules.
And I am pretty sure they hired new staff to help take care of the afk farming problem during the holiday events and just in general. I havent seen any of them during htown though, only tycho so far.

its ridiculous. its been tycho that gives people 20 minutes for an afk check, but i cannot logout successfully after 3 mins. this is fucking stupid. im not in the afk part im in a jail cell by myself and cannot use any commands to start any timer.

First, it takes your character 7 mins to log out once you close the window...

Most people would have learned after the first time that maybe it wasnt worth to risk to logout in at the boss...Most people...Use your head man...If it happened twice already why the fuck would you do it again? At that point its all on you.
