So ive done some thinking about why it would be beneficial for everyone if the chests are updated, but it would have to be done properly to make it balanced for everyone and no one would get butthurt hopefully.

-Would give people a reason to do things together, they 'should' at least have a digger/locksmith and someone to fight off the monsters.
-If it were in all facets, it would give more things to do in malas and ilshenar
-Would give the chance to introduce the Grubber mob.

I dont know exactly how the the treasure hunting works in OSI, but I think just a slight upgrade would be useful. There are probably features added that we wouldn't be able to use with the current loot system sadly. I am just trying to think of non-game breaking things that could be added that would benefit everyone, and just give us more options of things to do that wouldn't be filling bods, or farming monsters or pvping.

If you did make it a slightly customized system, you could add things that are harder to get, like recipes and talisman. Maybe make it harder to do in Fel, but give it a luck boost so their is a higher chance of getting something nice. If its open to Ilshenar, paragon could spawn and it would be just that much more of a pain in the ass.

There is probably many other things that could be added, I just thought I would make this post to get the idea out there. Its not game changing like the osi casting everyone wants, its just a "new" thing to add so its more to do. Because as it stands, its pretty much as pointless as Herding.

Feel free to discuss it, not trying to jab anyone or make anyone mad. Just giving more ideas for everyone, especially those who dont pvp.

im all for updating loot on treasure chests and dungeon chests but 0% behind pardon. That doesnt help pvp at all. Especially since taking counts on blues is super bugged.

The shadow elemental would have to be trained
A newly spawned one will be fine 1v2 or 3

Maybe at lvl first bcs this blue annoying things not pets-shadow ele good against ki rins and unicorns

The shadow elemental would need to be trained.

Back on topic, I like the idea of better loot in dungeon chests and treasure maps. These are pvm things that actually somewhat force you to play the game and that effort should be rewarded more than just running a script to do doom or a spawn or miasma. Once someone writes a script to check them all though, it's gonna be annoying.

Also, I wouldnt mind seeing 1-2 more mobs with miasma loot packs maybe one in tram and one in fel?

Also please buff the khaldun puzzle chests!

i feel like the dungeon chests would be the easiest to get and easiest to macro, so i would suggest not buffing them that much, the treasure chests you get from the tmaps and the sos you actually have to go and find and dig/fish up, they should have more valuable stuff in it. the dungeon chest could use a buff, but i would only make them like a level 4 map but with less gold in them since there is tons in every dungeon.

I like deco as rewards. Not for me personally i couldn't give two shits for deco personally but not everyone plays to make the perfect x suit some people just wanna decorate houses. I play to make perfect x suit sometimes i can sell or trade a piece of deco to get a piece for my perfect x suit. (Fyi x is a place holder for any suit)

Oh and also i never said mb was staff in that post you infer what u want just makes me laugh at you more.

After some more thought and talk with friends, ive come up with a couple more ideas that might help make it more convincing to go through with this.

-make it so you HAVE to kill the guardians before you can unlock the chest, for a couple of reasons, it would make it really hard to afk macro. It would also cut down on the random ancient wyrms and balrons that are just roaming around in the wild.
-if the gold increases with each level of the maps. it will give a 'set' price to the maps, which will make it more worth saving the maps when you kill mobs that drop it. they will have a resell value close to whatever is in the chest +/- the item prices and gold that drops form the mobs. This would make it so everyone benefits, those who sell it, those who would dig it up, everyone profits.
-if the tier 7 maps are added dont add the master skeleton key, Mana Phasing Orb, Runed Sash of Warding, Surge Shield. These items are imbalanced.
-if the SoA are added to the treasure chests, it would help players train the really annoying skills to train, plus it would give a chance to add the SoA book to store the scrolls.
-adding the other facets to the maps will allow alot more exploration, especially the ilshenar facet, you wont be able to recall the exact location, it could spawn paragons, it would be an experience. You could make it so the resources are doubled in the fel facet, to make the risk seem more enticing.
-if the Grubber were added, you could have it coded so it will steal the gold or the artifacts that might drop, that way you would have to go out of the way to kill it if you want the good stuff from the chests.
