there wont be another cub for like 2 years or more.

there's plenty of tokens around still.

Cub really depends on the players... when players cant find quivers they'll do cub. quivers disappear when they get put onto a character permanently. so if you want faster cub, you want more permanent players.

people only ask for cub cos they're muppets... as soon as one cub passes, they fill all their houses ready for the next one, defeating the entire point lol
it should take years for your houses to fill up passively

but an event in the lockdown is a really good idea

maybe they should just publish a date after they have one, for 3 years time, saying when the next one is.

Or make it perma cub. What's so wrong with that? The ONLY reason it wont happen is because staff will have to admit they were wrong.

they are kinda right tho, it's too farmable, people would bot it. the way they do it is alright, tots as fillers for events. it's not my style tbh, takes too much manned attention to do constant events, i'd try to automate it all. but it suits the staff team so works.

they'll hate me for saying this, but most of the gms are kinda councilors really, or seers... it's just not a 2 tier system so they're all gm.

but what im saying is the way things are, is a consequence of the way things are..


tho there is an argument to me made for being more aggressive in changing things instead of adapting to live with them.

Going by the accidental schedule it's due next year, but why not make it permanent do the server can have more beautiful deco.

Everyone gets excited when the event happens. It boosts morale way up because it is so rare. If these events were permanent then folks would get used to it and the items would be as worthless as the vesper museum artifacts.

you mean about as worthless as Heartwood kits and saws are? cause you know they have basically made it a 24/7 quest pinata in heartwood...which is having a huge impact on the economy....so making the cub event or the tot's perma wouldn't be that bad honestly... If you want things to be rare fine.. then remove the ability to get runic saws and kits from quests and instead make them drop from some super hard mob but wait the damage is already done... right?

Just saying some folks really need to look at the state of the game and realize it's not very balanced for risk vs reward...
