I have been away for few years, and surprisingly my characters are still here. I decided to check out the shard once more. However, it feels pretty empty. The logon system message says 500-550 chars online, but I can't even find people for arcane circle. Maybe it's because it is a weekday?

Yes, but the majority of the "players" listed are bots. There is still PVM and PVP going on.
For an arcane circle, check out vendor mall. There are usually some toons on the pentagram. But i think they have 0sw real skill so you'd need to stone sw off, get a circle and stone sw on again.

you won't see much action besides heartwood scripting until the holidays....sadly the server is stagnated....staff rarely reply to ques....and most players are just absent until the loot gamble that is Halloween comes up... and then you got the Christmas loot gamble shortly after.
