Blaze Cu spawn rate.

Do blaze cu's have a chance to spawn at any time or is it only at a specific time? i was told that it only spawns at xmas time and only 1 spawns per year. is there any truth to this? is this a demise rumor? thanks.

umm if its anything like the one hiryu spawning chart I saw a while go, i think the rarest colors of those have like a .05% chance of spawning, so if it is the same then the blaze and glacial ones are super low chance.

I know the blaze and the glacial are both available on the server I have seen both of them. Just not sure how much the rate of spawn is. The staff might know but I dont think they would release that info, my best suggestion would be to talk to Bloodshot Eyes, he farms cus all the time, so he might know the chance.

ahh thanks. i had seen this chart before but ive had mixed responses regarding the blaze cu actually having to be turned on during xmas time. so basically they all can spawn all the time, just lower chances. thanks fellas

You are right of course, but they did spawn legitimately for other people too, its just that all of them were tamed by one person who camped the spawn and would kill any cu-side other people were taming regardless the colour.

The glacial CU however does not spawn at wild. I think they were part of an event back then, i think there are 2 or 3 on the server.

The list being used by RunUO/Demise is quite a bit different.

There are 3 color categories:

• 1161 (category chance = 1 / 23301 = 0.004%)
• 1623, 1301, 1201, 1153, 1154, 1109 (category chance = 49 / 23301 = 0.210%)
• 2426, 2424, 2305, 2220, 1447, 1319 (category chance = 450 / 23301 = 1.931%)

The colors in each category are all equally likely when that category is picked.

This results in the following total chances:
0.004% - 1161
0.035% - 1623
0.035% - 1301
0.035% - 1201
0.035% - 1153
0.035% - 1154
0.035% - 1109
0.322% - 2426
0.322% - 2424
0.322% - 2305
0.322% - 2220

The ice blue hue (1154) used to spawn as glacial (1152) before it was corrected in August 2011. The existing glacial hue cu sidhes were left unchanged.
