i reckon they should make a 2024 ghost busters, that's an all black cast, but actually made as a blacksploitation comedy; like soul plane, or black dynamite. really on the nose humour; like make the ghost busters motif ghost black with an afro

it would be both a great comedy, and a great satire of the 2016 one, and it's baiting politics.

i think Gargoyles has something to do with Batman The Animated Series


that's a classic as well, they drew that on black paper ya know, that's why it looks so dark and atmospheric

i dunno what kids watch these days, but i'd bet it's not as good.. there was a generation of like teletubbies and stuff.. i blame a lot on that.

this one was excellent, originally french i think, translated to a lot of languages.
had like a biology magazine series that ran along side it

the good thing about this, is the guy that made it actually originally made a psychological horror graphic novel, called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, but they told him his art style was too immature for the subject matter.. so he made a kids TV show instead

Gargoyles was basically disneys response to the animated batmans popularity, they both dipped hard in the last season if you ask me but good stuff there.

Johnny the homicidal maniac and squee, loved those as a kid. Wish I hadn't ditch all my old comics sometimes.
