New pc having issues with client

So I bought a new pc and downloaded the client from the uo site (endless journey ) or I can check the patch # if that may be an issue . But it will let me log in through steam as run as administrator however after about a minute it boots me and says I need a updated version of steam. When I search for steam updates it says I’m updated ... any ideas ... thank you in advance
