Event of the day! April 26th

Post by Made In Quebec »

Did you know that,

31 years ago, was when Chernobyl turned of their security measure intentionnaly, in order to perfom system tests. Due to various reason, the tests were delayed until the night shift came in, and they were not well trained to perform these tests, which lead to the Explosion of reactor #4 in the early hours of the night. 2 people died immediately from the blast, while another 29 died from radiation soon after.

History, needs never be forgotten!

Even by the standards back then Chernobyl was considered a peice of shit. Poor safety standards and ignorance keep us in the dark ages longer than we're need to be. That's the real lesson we should take from it. Not another nuclear fear story.

(I love Godzilla and fist of the north star but c'mon Japan... get over it!)
