This seems to be hit and miss on Demise

Avicenna the Healing Instructor
Title: Bruises, Bandages and Blood
Objective: Train Healing to 50
Reward: Healer's Touch
Accelerated skill gain: Old Haven


Nope no accelerated gain


Alden Armstrong the Tactics Instructor
Title: The Art of War
Objective: Train Tactics to 50
Reward: Arms of Armstrong
Accelerated skill gain: Old Haven

Title: The Rudiments of Self Defense
Objective: Train Wrestling to 50
Reward: Gloves of Safeguarding
Accelerated skill gain: Old Haven

Nope and Nope no accelerated gain

Mithneral the Evaluating Intelligence Instructor
Title: A Scholarly Task
Objective: Train Evaluating Intelligence to 50
Reward: Ring of the Savant
Accelerated skill gain: Old Haven

This is a good one
No need to be in Old Haven to get the accelerated skill gain

Did you had other quests from New Haven active?

The Healing Quest was the only Quest I had going when I was doing it and the same for when I was doing the Evaluating Intelligence Quest.

The Evaluating Quest was really strange because I was getting the accelerated gains at Luna Bank

Wrestling and Tactics Quests were going at the same time

There was another skill that wasn't working correctly I think it was Anatomy maybe Parrying I can't remember sorry

According to code, you can only have 1 accelerated skill, if you have two quests, last one is going to benefit from Acceleration, it also lasts for 15 minutes, we need to verify on Oswhy.

I went on a production shard to try and replicate what I did on Demise

I think I may have found the problem


I went and got the Tactics quest first


I accepted the quest
I went to train Wrestling but..........

Wrestling is the 2nd quest on OSI I never received a gain in wrestling but I did get accelerated gains in other skills that I did not have quests for

Only a 0.1 gain in Tactics which was the 1st quest I accepted

The quest only lasts 15 minutes?

The accelerated gains only last 15 minutes?

The acceleration only lasts 15 minutes once a quest is accepted.

Well that's quite weird, I recall reading a post on stratics where people mentioning having more than 1 quest at a time.

Could it be, that having diff type of quests also give you acceletared skill gain in other skill branches?
