I keep getting the message "You fail in your attempt to move unnoticed" when wearing these, are they non-medable? This is the circlet form, maybe i'm just being a noob, it could also be my mage aroumer woodland legs perhaps? (my stealth is 60 and hiding is 100) thanks,

UPDATE, maybe its an old ageis of grace... but still in circlet form, it could have transformed, and just bugged out, its not the leggings, i took them off and im still having this issue.

Usually things made of metal have the mage armor property on it

So are all circlets are med?

A circlet counts as metal (plate) armor, which is why it's hindering stealth. It still is fully medable.

It might be useful to repeat the same test with a leather cap, and with a plate helm, then seeing which one matches the circlet better.
