Invalid dread spider silk

i picked up some dread spider silk ( quest item ) from a Idoc, and now i cant drop on the floor, or another backpack, any solution?

You can actually drop it yourself. First, fill up your pack to 125/125 items (one way to do this is unstacking a stack of gold). Then, lift the quest item and hold it in your cursor. Now being at 124/125 items, you will need a way to fill your pack back up to 125 items, for example by casting Create Food with a macro. When your pack is 125/125 again, drop the quest item in your pack. It will actually go to the floor, since your pack is full.
