noob question to PVP archery

Hi,

complete noob to pvp, anyway:
what's a good archery weapon to PVP?
I have no template yet, but want to go for mage archer, roughly.

Any thoughts?

idd carry a regular bow, with sc-1 or sc-0 and balance if i had a tactic mage archer, i would probably also carry a crossbow like that, ad a comp bow, and possibly even a heavy xbow and a short bow

Truth is the best archers either run with a group or use multiple bow types. If you're running solo you will need mortal, so either a regular bow or regular crossbow. Composite is nice for runners so you can hit that moving shot. Yumi puts out the most damage per shot, but is slow so you have to learn the right situations to use it. Good luck!

also yumi is usable only with bush because chance of double hit is to low without it...so it only waistin mana without bush.

on pvp archer ninj is more usefull imo

better- not better - thats not right question
mage - archer is much harder to suit up and is harder to play (ping etc)

abc = archery+bushido+chiva
thats pvm build )
pvp build thats something like
archery 100-120 (depends on head gear)
resist 120 (only 120)
healing 100-120
anatomy 100-120
tact 100-120
chiva 40-45 (or even without it, for chiv you need at least 2fc)
thats basic template for pvp
last points you can spend into 120 ninjitsu or spellweaving or bushido
ninj-build - 1vs1
sw - support\debuffer
bushido - support damage dealler

If you're poor, a regular bow balanced with hci Would work fine, you'd need sdi as well, and if you can't afford orny, you'll need a sc-0 regular bow.

If I was really poor I'd aim for crown of talkeesh, rbc, fey, runic gloves sleeves and gorget with lmc and mr/resists, and get 2/6 jewelry combination with hci/dci and 5 sdi, and a balanced sc-0 hci bow, and run reagents.
