There are so many funny posts on that forum

You can tell when certain players became GMs

Have you noticed Eos has logged in more than twice today and not to just like Selene's post?

Beware, citizens of Britannia!

Two giant turkey nests have been spotted in the Britannian woodlands. One is reported to be in Felucca, and the other in Ilshenar, but their exact whereabouts are regrettably unknown.

Approaching the nests is unadvised, as giant turkeys are known for their territorial instinct and ferocious attacks. They are even rumored to wield magic!

King Gideon is dispatching the Royal Guard to take care of the nests as soon as possible (It will take them about 48 hours). Until then, do not wander too far from the main roads!

Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

It would require Eos to login a 3rd time to like Selene's post that ends the 48 hour event

This was a nice trip down memory lane. Much of it not exactly my memories, so it fills in some gaps for me.

Back when RunUO was getting on its feet from the ashes of UOX, when Ryan was Retalin and I was Loser, he and I butted heads (a lot) in the RunUO forums. I kept busy running a couple shards of my own so I never really got into the UOGamers shards. I was a lowly scripter at best, learning that coding could be something more than boring as I so badly wanted to make a video game of my own. Now I'm an industrial automation engineer and I write code I couldn't have imagined I'd ever want to be involved with, and there's a part of me that misses calling him "Retstalin" and him calling me "Looser".

If nothing else, I did a little googling for the stuff I remembered, and here's my contribution to history, if not entirely Demise-specific: http://smithysanvil.infymus.com/topic_uox.html
