The time of Halloween draws near,
A time that many of us hold dear,
Though if it's the Town you seek,
You must be patient for another week,
As the season would not be complete,
Without first a little trick or treat!
But be careful of the tricks, you see,
As a lethal hit may spawn a player zombie!

So can I attempt to farm any good items by trick or treating? Is it just this candy and deco stuff? Limited on time, I'm just wondering if this is worth it at all.

the candy comes every year, the deco gets rotated out randomly so I think its a good thing to try and get before its either to late to get it again or its so over priced that its not worth it anymore.

Most of the event stuff is deco. Major useful items that drop from h-town and x-mas town are conjurer's trinket and grimoire and resist earrings.
Some other drops are...novelties? Chest of sending, seed box, garden shed, and hitching post are a few examples.
