UOG: Demise

The server has been offline for some hours now. None of the staff are able to connect to it in any way. We have contacted the person who supplies the server for Demise (Ryan) on many different platforms and await a response. This could take some time so please be patient.

Demise staff.

Status update: We still have not heard back from Ryan. We are discussing getting our own server to run Demise, but this requires consideration of the extra time and resources we will have to spend on this shard. Moving at this point would also entail a world revert to February 15, since that is the latest world save backup we have without access to the server.

Status update: We have placed an order for some hardware which is awaiting fulfilment. We have no control over when this may be ready, but in the very worst case scenario it could be Monday.

Unfortunately, we will be reverting to the last backed up world save, which is from February 15 at 12:10 AM UTC. We are planning to re-do the Pink Harrower event and Valentine’s Day open champion spawn that occurred since February 15. More information on the exact time for this will be posted once the shard is back online. We will also be looking at other things before we restart like resetting house decay so that there will be no instantaneous house drops.

We are looking forward to having Demise back, and we will bring it back to you as soon as we can. Thank you for your continued patience.

Status update: The server is back online!!!

Firstly we would like to Thank you all for your patience. Secondly, due to only having a world save from February 15th, we understand that some of you will lose some things gained after this time. Unfortunately we will not be able to replace anything lost due to this revert. To attempt to offset this as much as possible we have done the following.

Planned re-running of missed events:

• Valentine’s login gifts will continue to drop until February 29th.
• 2 Pink Harry spawns will be happening over the coming weekend:
  • 1st: February 29th, 1:00 AM UTC (after server wars)
  • 2nd: February 29th, 3:00 PM UTC
• The Valentine’s champion spawn will be reopened immediately to run until next server wars.

Temporary changes that will be reverted next server wars:

• Vendor reclaim inventory time has been extended.
• House decay has been turned off.(until May 15th)/list]

  • Any unstabled pets have been stabled.
  • You may receive a small gift on login as a thank you from us.
  If you find you are having trouble logging in, this could be because the domain may take some time to update. You can try using login.uogdemise.com (port 2593) as an alternative.
  Some of you may also be asking where the server is located. It is currently located in Pennsylvania.
